Just wanted to let you know that there is a fake 1EV server now that has apparently copied not only my server name but also the gametypes too.
My server IP is 209.246.143.126:2302
The imposter server is 68.232.176.180:2302
My reaction to hearing this:

Omega's new Gandanor is to blame. It easily allows someone to change the server name so that it can be exactly as 1EV's along with logging rcon activity. I think someone put up the server so that they could capture rcon passwords to my server (probably someone that got banned for botting).

I must say that's both an original method to steal rcon password, but also an extremely annoying one. And yes Gandanur allows you to include non-ascii letters in the server name. In itself that's not a bad thing.

Indeed. Thus i actually have to join the ranks of those that take down halo servers. Tis a hard life
